Much different and much better than expected.

Purchased for fly fishing from a touring kayak, it’s perfect for sitting low and slinging large deer hair along a weed or shoreline. Limited false casting; it’s an out and back motion with a lot of rod flex, but more power and accuracy than expected.

    Damn fine fly rod

when you first put the rod together, the amount it moves is ridiculous. It jumps up and down like an elastic band. I was honestly afraid to cast with it because I thought it would break. once the line was fed through the guides i began casting line, oh my god.. absolutely amazing. The feel you get is brilliant. These rods are built with amazing craftsmanship. Time was put in. I can cast 90 feet of line with ease. After using this rod for a day i have no worries of ever breaking it. The flex is retarded. (pardon my french). I give the boys over at blue halo two huge thumbs up, glass is not dead. And if it was close, they woke it up. I will stand by these rods for as long as they are on the market.
    Tight lines. - iamdros
